The Vijitt Resort Phuket

Phuket is Thailand’s largest island, where you can find majestic coves and bays. It is gifted with white beaches and small islands. The weather in Phuket is perfect for those who want to escape the winter cold. Depending on your preferences, Phuket has stunning beaches for everyone who wants to escape the busy city life.

You can find the perfect beach for you, no matter your personality, whether you are a party animal, or you want to enjoy the peace of nature. Phuket, though very progressive, still has a few laid back beaches that let you commune with nature with less or no distractions. There are secret beaches in Phuket that are worth visiting. You just have to put extra effort into searching for them as many of them are difficult to reach.

Below are only a few of the secret beaches that Phuket has to offer.

1. Pansea Beach

Pansea Beach is a small secluded beach with clean white sand and crystal waters. It is ideal for honeymooners who would like to cut off themselves from the hustle and bustle of the city. There are coral reefs near the beach and magnificent rock formations on either side, which make it a perfect backdrop for your photos.

2. Freedom Beach

It is a gem among the beaches on Phuket’s west coast with a long stretch of long white sand. It is rather difficult to access, but measures are being implemented to improve this. You can enjoy sunbathing, beach volleyball, and snorkeling in Freedom Beach. At the same time, the beach is quite shallow and is home to a variety of flora and fauna.

3. Sai Kaew Beach

Sai Kaew Beach is located at the Northside of Phuket. It is a long deserted stretch of sand, so if you are seeking solitude, it is a great place to be.

4. Yae Beach

This is not a swimming friendly beach; however, if you are such a hopeless romantic, then this is a perfect place to view the sunset with the love of your life.

5. Banana Beach

Banana Beach is located on the Coral island. It is beautifully hidden and only a few tourists know about this beach, making it less crowded than the other beaches. Several activities are available in Banana Beach, such as snorkeling, banana boat rides, and parasailing.

6. Pan Wa beach

Pan Wa Beach has rough sand and shallow water. Also known as Khao Kad Beach, this beach has maintained its serenity and is a place to go if you seek peace and quiet. It was not affected by the extreme urbanization that surrounds it.

7. Paradise Beach

It is a small beach that is scarcely 150 meters long. It is by far one of the most magnificent beaches in Phuket. The shade is provided by tall palm trees that are very prominent along the beach area. A 20 Baht fee is required to access the beach. Also, to preserve its serenity and peacefulness, as well as the coral reefs, no jet skis are allowed.

The next time you are in Phuket, explore these secluded beaches to enjoy complete relaxation and peace of mind. Steer clear of the busy crowds, and let these stunning places wow you in amazement.
